Culinary Artistry – Seasonal summer specials

Celebrating its eight year anniversary on July 13, Artisan RESTAURANT, TAVERN & GARDEN located inside the Delamar Southport Hotel opened with rave reviews and has been a local favorite ever since. Executive Chef Frederic Kieffer, a pioneer in the Connecticut farm to table movement, showcases freshly sourced, local, and sustainable ingredients with a global twist on classic New England cuisine. This summer Kieffer is debuting a Maine lobster cobb salad with snap peas, corn, avocado, and radish as well as veal carpaccio tonnato with capers and confit tuna dressing. He plans to highlight local seasonal summer ingredients like spring garlic, green asparagus, D’Avignon radish, CT strawberries, tomatoes, cucumber, and bean.
