The TownVibe readership reaches from the Long Island Sound to the Hudson Valley to the Berkshire Mountains. The six titles are Berkshire Magazine, Bedford Magazine, Fairfield Magazine, Litchfield Magazine, Ridgefield Magazine, and Wilton Magazine.

Geoffrey Morris

Founder & CEO

Geoffrey Morris is editor-in-chief and publisher of the six titles. Mr. Morris is a veteran of the magazine business—he was executive editor at National Review, a senior editor at Reader’s Digest, and an editor at MBA Jungle. He has written and edited hundreds of articles, book reviews, and editorials and his work has been nominated for two National Magazine Awards. He holds a BA (philosophy) from Hobart College and an MBA from NYU. He lives in Ridgefield with his wife, Martha, and two daughters.

Martha Evans Morris

After 15 years, Martha Evans Morris is moving on from her role as associate publisher of TownVibe, which she started with husband Geoffrey Morris. Martha, who is also a Licensed Master of Social Work in Connecticut,  is leaving to start a private psychotherapy practice at 24 Bailey Avenue in Ridgefield. “I put my social-work career on hold and happily put my marketing hat back on when we started the business,” she says, thinking it would be “just a few years.” Now 15 years later, TownVibe has a staff of 11 and a sales team of six industry veterans. Martha received her Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in children and families, from Fordham University. She works with adolescents and adults with issues around depression, anxiety, school performance, family adjustments, career stresses, grief, and more. In her practice, she helps clients to maximize healthy coping skills and minimize or replace unhealthy ones so they can live their best life.

Deborah Hayn

Creative Director

Deborah Hayn is creative director for all six TownVibe titles. Deb has been working in publication design for over 20 years. She directed the design development of new magazines for Family Circle Lifestyle Publications, Image Partners Custom Publishing, and Goodman Media Group as well as designing for numerous national titles including American Homestyle and Gardening, Country Living, Country Living Gardener, Healthy Living, McCall’s, Old House Journal, Redbook, The New York Times Magazine, TV Guide, and Woman’s Day Specials.

Mary Beth Lawlor

Editor of Litchfield Magazine

Mary Beth Lawlor is editor of Litchfield Magazine. Mary Beth has strong ties to the community through her work with local non-profits such as the After School Arts Program, Gunn Memorial Library, and the Housatonic Valley Association. Having helped with their marketing and communications, she has also organized their major fundraising events such as ASAP's Annual Young Writers Celebration and HVA's Benefit Auction for the Environment. After moving from New York City to Litchfield County six years ago, Lawlor became the editor for the family website Mommy Poppins Connecticut.

Robin H. Phillips

Editor of Fairfield Magazine

Robin H. Phillips is editor of Fairfield Magazine. Robin has a strong and varied magazine and publishing background—working on both national titles and local outlets. Most recently she was co-editor of fairfieldmoms.com and prior to that worked in New York City with Conde Nast Publications, on such titles as House & Garden, Conde Nast Traveler and Bon Appetit, and at Meredith, with Ladies Home Journal and Country Homes. She is a graduate of Smith College and lives in Fairfield.

Megan Smith-Harris

Editor of Wilton Magazine

Megan Smith-Harris is editor of Wilton Magazine. She has achieved success in many different media including film, television, theatre, radio, blogs, and magazines. Megan is also the co-owner of the Wilton-based production company, Pyewackitt Productions and has directed, written, and produced, numerous critically-acclaimed documentaries. Her last film, Trial By Fire: Lives-Reforged, screened internationally and continues to air nationally on PBS. Her current documentary, The Buddy System tells the powerful story of how dogs are transforming the lives of children on the autism spectrum. In addition, Megan programs and moderates the New Perspectives Documentary Series, now entering its ninth year, at the Wilton Library.

Jennifer Moore Stahlkrantz

Jennifer Moore Stahlkrantz is editor of Bedford Magazine. Jen has been a contributing writer and editor for various TownVibe titles for more than a decade. A graduate of Cornell University, she is also a lifestyle, design and construction writer and is the author of Reservoir and co-author of Building Net Zero.

Anastasia Stanmeyer

Anastasia Stanmeyer is editor of Berkshire Magazine. After graduating with a degree in political science from the University of Kansas, she began her journalism career with daily newspapers and then moved on to writing for magazines such as Time, Asiaweek, Newsweek, and Stern. She was based in Asia for 12 years and has covered regions under major political and social change such as South Sudan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Burma, and Haiti. She documented the AIDS epidemic throughout Asia and its connectivity to social issues and women’s rights. She moved to the Berkshires in 2008, where she has been very involved in the community. She was an MCLA Hardman Journalist in Residence in 2015.

Laurie Newkirk

Laurie Newkirk is Director of Digital Media. Laurie is an award-winning website strategist and producer of creative content. Her background in publishing started at Hearst Magazines. She became immersed in the online world as Director of Marketing at USA Networks overseeing the merchandise websites for the NHL, PGA, NASCAR, and the NBA. She has been overseeing the website and producing for the Emmy winning TV show Teen Kids News and is co-founder of the website Motherrr.com.

Kim Zeiss

Kim Zeiss is Operations Manager. Kim has extensive financial and administrative experience, most recently helping operate and administrate five childcare centers in New York, and before that, she was part of the buying and ecommerce team at Nine West in White Plains, NY.

Sharon Peck

Sharon Peck is Production Manager. Sharon has over 20 years of print production experience working mostly on lifestyle magazines in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey. She has a degree in graphic design and technology. Her background includes working for various printing companies as well as design agencies.

Kelly Gels

Kelly Gels is Operations Assistant. Kelly has an administrative background most recently with youth lacrosse.
