The start of autumn in Litchfield County brings a chill in the air that propels us to transition from wearing flip flops to boots, and bathing suits to cashmere. In our annual fall fashion feature we asked some of our local boutiques and stores to ease us into fall with some of their favorite looks: The Chic Boutique in Kent carries a wide range of sizes, designers, and styles from casual to evening wear. The Workshop inc. in Litchfield is celebrating 50 years and continues to serve a loyal clientele. In Woodbury, you will find an eclectic mix of new and vintage clothing and accessories, including wearable works of art made from Indian dowry blankets at the Joannajohn Collection. And a few minutes outside of Litchfield County in Canton, The Shoppes at Farmington Valley has a plethora of stores with great options to choose from.
