Blue Cactus Grill Expands to Fairfield

After nine years, Norwalk’s popular Blue Cactus Grill has expanded to Fairfield. Serving up classic, American comfort food with a Southwestern twist, the eatery is best known for their burgers and cheesesteaks. “The concept arose from my desire to want to share with the East coast some very original flavors that I came to appreciate living in Arizona for 10 or so years,” says owner Vic Amereno. Try the Black Rock Burger, topped with bacon, American cheese, caramelized onions, smoky jalapeño puree, and an over easy egg, or  “Vic’s Famous” cheesesteak, smothered in cherry peppers, grilled onions, chili, melted cheese, and a touch of chipotle mayo. Looking for something lighter? There is also wide selection of salads, sandwiches, wraps, and soups. “The quality, originality, and freshness of our food is unmatched,” Amereno says. “Our customer service is next level, and the lengths we go to satisfy everyone is top notch.”
